Consumer Critique: iLive Waterproof Fabric Wireless Speaker

Summer family vacations often include trips to the beach, playing in the backyard and inviting extended family over for a barbecue. Music can add a lot of energy or provide relaxing background sounds, but bringing just any speaker can be a problem - portable speakers generally have a problem with water.

I had a chance to review iLive’s Waterproof Fabric Wireless Speaker. It has an IPX5 rating and is compact yet powerful and even features a travel clip to carry it easily wherever you go. It comes in blue, teal, black, or white, so yo ucan decide if you want something that blends in or sticks out.

I was able to bring this on a camping trip, and it worked well. It's pretty small so it doesn't take up a lot of space, but it still has a pretty decent sound. It was easy to hook up to a Bluetooth-enabled phone - and it will work well at home too, while my daughters are weeding. They like listening to music but try to do it one-handed while holding their phone - now they'll be more efficient and still get their tunes!
