ErgoFoam is an ergonomic footrest named by the New York Times as “the most comfortable and supportive” model of its kind. Available in varied sizes, ErgoFoam’s footrest offers firm support in the specific position you need it, relieving leg pain, offsetting seated load, and reducing back fatigue.
I had a chance to review ErgoFoam, and I really liked it. The fabric used on the outside was soft and comfortable. I had the adjustable version, which meant that I had more flexibility in use. Although my husband is quite tall and has a fancy ergonomic office chair, he also appreciated using the footrest and the fact that it could have two different heights. In fact, we "borrowed" it from each other so much to test that we might need to get a second one!
The foam was firm but comfortable, and we could also flip it over and use it as a foot rocker. I probably did that even more often than using it just as a regular footrest because I tend to get fidgety while working and this gave me a specific way to fidget.
The company has the footrests available in two types of fabric, as well as a lumbar cushion. They also show it in use in a few other positions (semi-laying, for example) - and something like this would have definitely come in handy when I needed to elevate my foot after a sprain/ligament tear!
