These states do not have state-controlled liquor sales and distribution: Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Oklahoma, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Washington D.C. and Wisconsin. If you live in any of these states, your local liquor store will individually determine if they will remain open on September 6. Check with them to make sure you’re in the loop! BanksBanks will be closed on September 6. Because Labor Day is technically a bank holiday, all physical bank locations have to be closed. But, to help you out, all ATMs and online banking services will still be available for you to use.
