My daughter has never crocheted, but she absolutely loves little things, so she was eager to try out a book I recently got to review, Crochet Your Own Kawaii Animal Cuties.
Kawaii means "cute" in Japanese, and the animals in this book are absolutely adorable. The kit has materials for a sloth and a shiba inu, but supplies for the rest are easy to find. The projects actually took less time than I expected, even though my daughter had no experience with crocheting (she is really good at picking up crafts, though, so younger or less experienced people may struggle a little bit at first). The illustrated instructions make it easy to see what comes next, and the book would make a perfect gift for anyone who likes to crochet or create their own cute things.
