Wouldn’t it be great if success were just a matter of personal choice? “Sure,” you might say, “and wouldn’t it be great if money just grew on trees?” Author Esra B. Ogut believes both of those statements are true, and she explains what she means by that in her new book, Money Does Grow on Trees: The Myths We Create and Live By. One of the keys, according to Ogut, is simply learning how to get out of our own way. Self-imposed limitations that we don’t even recognize can block us from success and hide the money that is just sitting out there on “trees” waiting to be picked.
I had a chance to review the book, and it's obvious that the author firmly believes what she writes. Through the book, readers can really get a sense of the personality and positivity that she has in life, especially regarding finances. There are some very tangible focus points in the book, but the main idea of the book is about being more positive to let success happen. She shares stories from her own life that resonate with her viewpoint, and it can be a very inspiring, optimistic book to read.
