Movie Minute: Church People

CHURCH PEOPLE, a faith-based comedy film that uses humor to bring awareness to real struggles undergirding the American Church while powerfully presenting a poignant message of what faith in Jesus is all about, is available On Demand everywhere .

The comedic film is now available to broad audiences via Comcast, Spectrum, DirecTV, Dish, AppleTV, Amazon, Vudu as well as other digital movie rental platforms. Funded by Executive Producer Mike Lindell out of his passion for Jesus and the hurting, and created by some of the most established faith-based filmmakers working in mainstream media, CHURCH PEOPLE has gathered together audiences across the country who are eager for uplifting and meaningful entertainment.

“Audiences have loved the film so far and being able to reach more people through streaming on home entertainment services is an incredible opportunity that will allow so many others to hear about Jesus,” said comedian and actor Thor Ramsey. “The comedic aspects, as well as a message of hope, are refreshing especially after the hardships faced during the past year.”

“Many churches today are turning away from preaching the Gospel, instead, resorting to clever themes and smog machines to reach new audiences,” said Lindell, who also makes a special appearance in the film. “But at the end of the day, Jesus is what makes the Gospel attractive.

Through its hilarious comedic approach, ‘Church People’ reminds the American Church that Jesus is enough amidst the prevalence of fear, depression and addiction in our culture, while providing hope to those who may have forgotten this simple, yet transformative message,” Lindell concluded.
