Getty has launched two new offerings perfect for kids to enjoy this autumn and beyond. The museum hopes these programs will spark a love for art and history among young minds.
· The first one, Fantastic Journeys: Myth, Magic, and Mysterious Monsters, offers free, on-demand storytelling and art workshops – it includes arts & crafts, puppets, animation, and more!
· The second one, Becoming Artsy, is a brand-new YouTube show created by and filmed at Getty, which takes viewers on a virtual tour of its collections, gardens, and more!
Fantastic Journeys: Myth, Magic, and Mysterious Monsters
Embark on an epic journey through tall tales performed by storytellers, puppets, artists, and animations. This online series features three spellbinding stories of daring adventures, fantastical beasts, and magical enchantments, each followed by an art-making workshop guided by Getty’s Fantastic Journeys artists. Enjoy imagination-sparking activities as you explore story-inspired artworks from the Getty collection.
