I recently had a chance to review The Memory Thief. My daughter was instantly attracted by the cover and the description of the book, and devoured the book in one day.
The book shares a world where memories are currency and certain people can steal memories with a touch. But one girl doesn't want to live in this society, divided by ability and where "criminals' " memories are sold to the highest bidder.
This has all the elements of any good young adult book - an intriguing world, conflict, a young adult trying to make a difference, relationship exploration, and finding one's identity. And, of course, there are secrets to the society that readers uncover with the main character. If you're looking for a new young adult fiction book, this is definitely a good one to read!
