Good Earth Village is excited to announce that the annual GoodStock festival will feature contemporary Christian music star Jonny Diaz! Jonny Diaz has had many hit songs including, More Beautiful You, Thank God I Got Her, and his highest chart-topping hit, Breathe. “My wife, Carmen, and I are huge fans of Jonny, and it’s a blessing to welcome him to our own backyard,” said Tyler Anderson, Director of Retreat Services.
GoodStock is a time to celebrate the community and mission of Good Earth Village. Everyone is welcome to participate on Saturday, August 27- Sunday, August 28, 2022 for another fun-filled weekend of faith, fun, and music. We will have 3 bands performing at this year's event including A Sign Ahead, Six Mile Grove, and headliner Jonny Diaz!
Saturday, August 27: The day will kick off at 2:00 with a Color Run on trails on the Good Earth Village campus with two distances, a 1-mile and 3-mile course. The event will include food trucks/vendors, a Village Market full of great local artisans and merchants, wagon rides, and a Family Fun Zone filled with great activities for kids.
Sunday, August 28: Sunday morning will feature an outdoor morning worship at our Three Crosses Amphitheater. Times and details will be available at our website.
This event is free and open to the public, except for a modest entry fee for the color runs. Free-will donations are welcome but not required.
"This year's group of bands and event activities has something for everyone to enjoy. All are welcome to attend!" said Dianna Parks, Executive Director. “This is our love letter to the region, in gratitude for over 50 years of service and community building.”
Good Earth Village has been serving Southeast Minnesota outside of Spring Valley since 1969. We were founded as an ecumenical ministry to serve youth during the summer, and we have grown to a year-round facility with a lodge, cabins, and RV park, with 477 to camp and explore God’s magnificent creation. We believe that we are ALL created in the image of Love, and every body is welcome.
