Enriching Education: Rebel Girls Podcast

Yoto, the audio platform for kids behind the critically acclaimed and award-winning Yoto Player and newly launched Yoto Mini, has today announced their partnership with Rebel Girls, a global empowerment brand dedicated to raising the most inspired and confident generation of girls, to offer select episodes of the Goodnight Stories for Rebel Girls podcast for free on the Yoto app.

Goodnight Stories for Rebel Girls, based on the New York Times bestselling book series of the same name, amplifies stories of real-life extraordinary women throughout history, geography, and profession in an innovative fairy-tale format. Yoto’s offering of the award-wining podcast series will include those episodes released via Rebel Girls’ RSS feed. Past stories of barrier-breaking women have included Frida Kahlo, Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Naomi Osaka, among the nearly 175 audio stories in the Rebel Girls collection.

Ben Drury, CEO of Yoto says, “Yoto empowers children to use their curiosity, creativity and imagination, making this partnership with Rebel Girls a natural extension of our core values. We look forward to welcoming this new addition within our Yoto Community and hope the podcast helps families explore these iconic stories in an all-new way.”

The Yoto app is a unique extension of the brand’s award-winning player offering ever-changing audio for families to enjoy at the click of a button. In addition, the Yoto app allows parents to control their child’s Yoto Player remotely while also offering unique bedtime features such as a range of sleep sounds that play continuously and a selection of bedtime music to help your child unwind.

The Goodnight Stories for Rebel Girls podcast release is just the start of this exciting partnership. Audio cards with more Rebel Girls stories are set to be released in 2023 within Yoto’s extensive audio library for children to enjoy.
