I recently had a chance to review I Have to Pay for This $h!t, a tongue-in-cheek book about sending kids off to college. Although I'm not a huge fan of swearing, the book would definitely be appropriate for many parents who are looking at the empty-nest stage. Written in the style of a kids' book, with rhyme and refrain, it still shows plenty of love to the kid who's leaving. Most of the scenes in the book will be familiar to anyone who's ever raised a kid, although the potential trouble they may cause in college is hopefully not a universal experience!
