Consumer Critique: Cloud Star Birthday Bites Wag More Bark Less Peanut Butter & Honey Dog Treats

 I recently had a chance to review Cloud Star Birthday Bites Wag More Bark Less Peanut Butter & Honey Dog Treats. My dog loved these!

I thought the name was a little cute and silly, but in a good way. Obviously my dog doesn't know when it's her birthday, although we do a dog-friendly birthday cake for her every year. She also doesn't think about whether or not her treats are birthday cake flavored - but the ingredients in these treats were pretty similar to what we make for her actually birthday cake. She loves peanut butter, and honey can be a beneficial ingredient for dogs too (several dog owners I know use local honey to help with allergy issues during the spring and summer).

Besides peanut butter and honey, these treats also have other real ingredients - cranberries, blueberries, carrot, and coconut. With a base of whole wheat and oatmeal, these are nearly identical to some types of people cookies (and they smelled pretty decent too).

These treats were a fairly generous size, so we didn't give her very many in one day. She definitely liked them, though! We used them for high-value treats for certain situations, like getting her in from the back yard when she didn't want to come, and they were a great reward for her. They easy rivaled the meatballs we were using in terms of being a good reward for those harder situations.
