Consumer Critique: Dogswell Jerky Minis Skin & Coat Salmon Recipe Grain-Free Dog Treats

 

My dog loved the fact that I got to try out some Dogswell Jerky Minis Skin & Coat Salmon Recipe Grain-Free Dog Treats. We don't often buy jerky for her, so these were an extra special treat.

She definitely seemed to enjoy the flavor a lot. I liked that these were mini treats too. Although she loves jerky, we don't typically give her large treats very often, so these mini treats felt like a better size for her. Although she's a golden retriever, she's really quite small for her breed, so we have to make sure that we aren't given her too many treats to make sure she stays at an appropriate weight.

These treats are pretty healthy for your dog too. They're grain-free, so they're appropriate for dogs with grain sensitivities or pet owners who just want to reduce the amount of grain in their dog's diet. There is no added sugar, and features the omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids from Norwegian salmon. They're made in the USA.

The size of these treats was perfect for our frequent training sessions. Sometimes we'd use them as a food topper too, just to mix things up a little bit. I also liked that they looked and smelled like people jerky - they definitely seemed to be a high quality treat!

Just like humans, dogs can benefit from omega-3 and omega-6. They can support healthy skin, heart, and joints. It is helpful to have high-quality treats for your dog, and to make sure they can fit in with an appropriate amount of food overall, to help keep them as healthy as they can be.
