The Gel Blaster is a new toy on the market that promotes active outdoor play. I had a chance to try out several of these. They blast an eco friendly water based gel pellet called Gellets that are safe for people, pets, and the environment. Gellets are colorful absorbent beads that disintegrate on contact that dehydrate, leaving no stain, no mess and no clean up.
The Gel Blasters we got were incredibly easy to use. It's amazing how much the little balls swell up, and they really did seem to just disappear after they hit their targets. They have a starch-based coating that will disintegrate. It's a new take on water gun fights that my kids (and their friends) definitely enjoyed!
