I love the idea of absorbing odors naturally, and I'm really happy with these Moso Natural charcoal bags. They're incredibly easy to use - just open the packaging and put the bag somewhere in a room that can benefit from a light deodorizing. They don't have the same effect as a more "instant" form of scent like candles or spray, but they steadily absorb scents to make rooms smell a lot better.
We put ours to the test in several areas - a laundry room closet, my teen girls' bedroom, and a bathroom. Obviously some odors still get through, but only for the short term, and then the rooms smell fresh again.
The bags last for quite a while, all you need to do is put them in the sun once a month and let the UV light "recharge" the charcoal. (I'll be honest, I don't always remember to do this, and they still seem to work for a long time). The bags are also nice enough looking to be visible - they have a neutral appearance that just works in a lot of different places.
