I recently had a chance to review some sauces from Grandma Irma Sauces. The sauces are designed to be multipurpose - to work as either a cooking sauce, a dip, or a marinade. They do work well for all three. They aren't too thin to use like BBQ sauces, but they also coat well to use while cooking (I usually can't plan ahead well enough for a marinade, but I would assume they work well for that too).
The sauces come in several flavors (original, spicy, jerk sauce, and habanero mango), and also in sugar-free options for each flavor. Some are spicier than others, but none of them were insanely hot. My favorite was the original.
Grandma Irma is also much more than a unique product line; it is a brand that gives back yearly, supporting the mission, “Healing Trauma one bottle at a time.” CEO/Owner, Nicole Fleming donates a portion of sales of each bottle sold to a charity of her choice each year, and her personal story of overcoming trauma in her book Abused Adolescent can be purchased on Amazon.
