Little Bee Books is a publishing group that creates books designed for kids up to age twelve. They have a lot of different books in their catalog (including books from sister imprints that are for older kids). They recently sent me a few of their new books, but I encourage you to check out their website for even more!
Pie Love You - if you like puns, pies, or cute board books, this is a great one for you and the kids you love. One of my daughters hates it (because she hates puns) but she actually loved it too. Each page is dedicated to a different flavor of pie, and the cute illustrations and rhymes make it a fun read.
Already All the Love - this is a beautifully illustrated book that celebrates the love between parent and child. It's warm and gentle, and gives caregivers a chance to breathe and reflect on love.
Toypurina: Japchivit Leader, Medicine Woman, Tongva Rebel - I enjoyed reading this story, although it's not a traditional "happy ending." But it's a great story for kids to learn about a pretty unknown figure - I had never heard of her. Anyone who is interested in their kids learning more about women's history, indigenous people's history, or history in general, will be interested in this book.
