Music Minute - Tucker Whetmore at the Ryman Auditorium (Nashville, 5/21)

Skyrocketing country artist Tucker Wetmore is taking his meteoric rise to one of country music's most hallowed stages – the Ryman Auditorium. The “breakthrough country artist” (People) will make his highly anticipated debut at the iconic Nashville stage on May 21 with special guest Jacob Hackworth. Presale kicks off this Wednesday, Feb. 19 at 10 a.m. CT with public onsale beginning Friday, Feb. 21 at 10:00 a.m. CT.

“It's an absolute dream come true to headline the Mother Church of Country Music for the first time, and it means even more to share it with one of my best friends, Jacob Hackworth,” shares Wetmore. “Can't wait to see y'all on May 21. Feeling beyond blessed.”

The announcement comes on the heels of Wetmore's buzzed-about national television debut on NBC's TODAY with Jenna & Friends where he lit up Studio 1A with a performance of his RIAA PLATINUM-certified No.1 hit single “Wind Up Missin' You.” Making the morning even more memorable, host Jenna Bush Hager and guest host Ana Gasteyer surprised Wetmore with a PLATINUM / No. 1 plaque commemorating the song that catapulted him into the spotlight nearly one year ago.

Wetmore also just wrapped a jam-packed Super Bowl LIX weekend that included a special performance at EA SPORTS™ Presents Madden Bowl where he shared the stage with juggernauts Chris Stapleton, Shaboozey and Jelly Roll. With no signs of slowing down, he revealed the release date of his next single, “3,2,1”  out Feb. 21, marking his first release since his critically acclaimed EP Waves on a Sunset. Pre-save/Pre-add here.

Only two months into 2025, Wetmore has already proven he's off to the races, nabbing the first No.1 of the year on the charts at Country radio with “Wind Up Missin' You” and earning an iHeartRadio Music Awards nomination for Best New Country Artist. He recently joined Luke Bryan's CRASH MY PLAYA in Riviera Cancun, Mexico before he heads to Country 2 Country (C2C) in March. His trip overseas features dates from his extended WAVES ON A SUNSET TOUR 2025, including a sold-out stop at London's Electric Ballroom. He will also join Thomas Rhett's BETTER IN BOOTS TOUR 2025 as direct support across 33 dates this summer.

As he approaches the one year anniversary of his head-turning debut this month, Wetmore has proved to be unstoppable, fueled by his back-to-back Billboard Hot 100 hits “Wine Into Whiskey” and “Wind Up Missin' You.” After releasing his debut EP Waves on a Sunset in October, his catalog has amassed him more than 765 million total global streams to date and has earned spots on coveted Artist to Watch lists from Spotify, Billboard, VEVO, MusicRow and many more.

With new music, major festival appearances and a whirlwind touring schedule ahead, Wetmore is cementing his spot as one of country music's most exciting new talents. For updates, tour dates and announcements, keep up with Wetmore on InstagramTikTokYouTube and his website at tuckerwetmore.com.
