Country newcomer Alyssa Flaherty is carving her lane and putting her vulnerability on display in her new release “Broken By You,” out now. Written by Flaherty, Grant Gilbert and Adam Hambrick, today's release showcases the rising artist's thoughtful writing skills and traditional country pipes as she turns the page to her most personal release yet.   “I'm so excited for this new era of music,” shares Flaherty. “'Broken By You' marks the beginning of a story that I've been waiting to tell for a long time. My co-writers and I worked to shape my emotions into a story, and this reflection of pain and betrayal was the start of my healing process. Hopefully it can be the same for many others too.”   LISTEN: “BROKEN BY YOU”   "Broken By You" captures the heart-wrenching aftermath of romantic deception – a story of red flags ignored, time wasted, trust misplaced, and the emotional fallout of loving someone who didn't deserve it. Flaherty gives a full confession of heartbreak, disappointment and the struggle to accept that what once felt like forever was never real.    Flaherty's musical career started in her hometown of Annapolis, Md. before moving to Nashville in 2020 to follow her dreams full time. Her big break came when Oscar-winning actor Kevin Costner tapped her to record a rendition of “Amazing Grace” for his movie Horizon: An American Saga. The milestone moment paved the way for her debut single “Under The Influence” in June 2024.   With a bright future on the horizon, Flaherty's year is stacking up with more new music on the way and exciting tour runs. She is currently on the road with Brad Tursi of Old Dominion, Jo Dee Messina and Kendell Marvel for select dates before heading overseas for her first international shows this fall. Her innate passion for performing grew stronger with every passing day, compelling her to share her God-given voice with the world.
