Trailblazing singer-songwriter”
(Billboard) Lily Rose ushers in a bold new chapter with the announcement of her highly anticipated full-length album,
I Know What I Want, due Oct. 3.
The 13-track record is poised to capture a season of sharp clarity and personal truth, and this Friday, Aug. 8, Rose offers a final preview of what's to come with the slow-burning confessional
“Of Course I Do.” In celebration of the release, Rose will support Jordan Davis on the road for three shows, this weekend only.
“I've been writing for this project for almost five years now and during that time, I have spanned the spectrum of peaks and valleys,” shares Rose. “Through these years, I have known what I want but have been navigating how to get there… and I feel like I finally made it. When it comes to my catalog of songs, a lot of them were written to bring energy to the live show – 'Of Course I Do' is the poster child for that. It's the song I'm most excited to crank up to 10 in my car and play live.”
Written by Rose, Paul DiGiovanni, Andy Albert and Emily Weisband, “Of Course I Do” showcases the vulnerable side of a breakup, admitting the honest truths that inevitably come along with parting ways. The track joins previous standout 2025 releases “End Like This,” “Seein' Blue,” “Let You Know When I Get There” and the title track “I Know What I Want,” praised by Country Now for showcasing her “signature country twang seeping through her vocals.”
The new album builds on the momentum of Rose's Runnin' Outta Time EP, released in spring 2024 to critical acclaim. Praised for its raw vulnerability and high energy, the six-track project marked a turning point for Rose as both an artist and storyteller – laying the foundation for the bold next step she takes with I Know What I Want.
After joining country superstar Jordan Davis on the road this weekend, Rose will embark on her 17-stop headlining I Know What I Want Tour, bringing her signature “deep, soulful voice and innovative sound” (COWGIRL Magazine) to fans across the country. The run kicks off September 11 in Boston and will travel through major markets including New York City, Washington, D.C., Charlotte and her hometown of Atlanta.
