About the Author:

Born in the small village of Ystradgynlais in South Wales, UK, Al Douglas is the author of Buddy & Pal (K9:Snoops). Growlsville is the first book in this children’s detective series. He moved to London when he was five years old, and from the age of six he became involved in his father’s entertainment agency, where he worked with many stars of stage and screen. He studied Dynamic Writing with Prof. Stuart Browne (NYU) then went on to work with Hollywood screenwriting guru Syd Field (USC). He was a member of the BBC Writers Unit and has connections with several Independent Production Companies. When he isn’t writing, Al enjoys the beautiful Welsh countryside.
