I recently had a chance to see a screener of the film He Calls Me Daughter.
The film starts right off with defining "father wound" and then follows first-person stories of women who have dealt with the pain for years. While these women journey towards healing, the film invites viewers to experience the love of a Father who offers peace, belonging, and restoration, one who won't leave or abandon those who love Him.
It's poignant and heartfelt, with honesty about the pain of difficult parental relationships, but also hope.
