Fun Freetime - Ranger's Path: National Park Simulator – Content Update 2

The second early-access content update for Ranger’s Path: National Park Simulator is sure to delight all animal lovers: the game now offers not only three additional animal species but also new and interesting ways to interact with the diverse wildlife of Faremont National Park. In addition, virtual rangers can look forward to extra callouts and the corresponding equipment, adding even more variety to their daily work routine.

Content Update 2 introduces new ways to interact with the wildlife of Faremont National Park in ways that go far beyond mere observation: the Animal Interaction System allows players to free animals trapped by poachers, and to sedate and treat injured wildlife. For both tasks, the new tranquilizer gun becomes essential: It allows the players to sedate trapped or injured animals so that the ranger can intervene without putting themselves in danger. A VHF receiver also enables rangers to track down animals that have been fitted with a GPS device

Content Update 2 also brings three new animal species to Faremont National Park - including a true American icon: the mighty bison not only leaves visitors in awe but also offers park rangers fascinating new opportunities for observation. Smaller, yet no less impressive, are the other two species now entering the game: feral hogs roam the forests, while hikers traversing Faremont’s hills and mountain slopes should keep a sharp eye out for the elusive bobcat.

Are plants more your thing?

Invasive plant species can now be removed using a root puller, while a new callout lets you restore certain areas of the park by planting new flora.

Speaking of tasks: New dynamic events and callouts will add variety to the virtual ranger’s day-to-day activities.

Ranger’s Path: National Park Simulator is available in Early Access on Steam and the Epic Games Store for 19.99 Euro/ 19.99 USD /16.75 GBP. Owners of the main game receive all EA updates free of charge. Find out more about upcoming updates with the official EA Roadmap!
