Parenting Pointers: Healthy Resolutions

Are you the kind of person to make New Year's resolutions? It's important to pick ones that are manageable, instead of setting lofty goals and beating yourself up for not doing them. Here are some ideas:

- Wear sunscreen on a regular basis.
- Walk instead of driving when possible.
- Take the stairs.
- Move during commercials.
- Eat at least one fruit and vegetable every day.
- Before snacking on a sweet or salty snack, eat a fruit or veggie.
- Remember to say please and thank you.
- Volunteer.
- Read a book.
