Consumer Critique: J.K. Lasser’s 1001 Deductions & Tax Breaks 2012

I don’t mind doing my own taxes, so I was happy to have the opportunity to read J.K. Lasser's 1001 Deductions and Tax Breaks 2012: Your Complete Guide to Everything Deductible. This is an incredible resource.

Written by attorney Barbara Weltman, this book includes deductions and tax breaks in every area of life, including family, career, health, education, and much more. This book can be used to make sure you aren’t missing any tax breaks that you’re currently using, or to give you ideas for ways to help decrease your tax liability and make sure you’re using your money in the most tax-friendly way possible.

The nice thing is that even though there are 1001 breaks or deductions listed, it’s still less than 500 pages. The book doesn’t waste words, but instead provides a clear and concise explanation for each topic.

For more information, you can visit J.K. Lasser online, like J.K.Lasser on Facebook or follow @JKLasser.

Disclosure: I received a complimentary copy of the book to facilitate this review.
