I had a chance to try a compostable coffee pod that has the possibility to great reduce waste in landfills! Woken has created *compostable bio-capsules of premium espresso.
The company is sustainably-minded, aming to reduce the waste from single-serve pods. They have three flavors of premium espresso - we were sent the vanilla one. The coffee had a great flavor, and I loved that we could compost the pods.
Not only is Woken reducing waste with their bio-capsules, but they are also mindfully using green energy to produce their product. Each stand-alone capsule is produced exclusively with energy from wind, sun, hydropower, and biogas!
