Tami Lange is the president and founder of Save The Girls, the original touchscreen purse supplier. Ms. Lange is a media veteran with a message for others who need affordable, accessible high-tech tools to negotiate the challenges of retail sales. Ms. Lange is a frequent television, radio and business journal interviewee who has appeared with celebrities like Howie Mandel and Lori Greiner.
She is now working to promote her CommentSold to help other small businesses. Smaller retailers, female owned enterprises, and start-ups need effective, affordable ways to reach customers. With CommentSold, retailers can sell more in less time than other stores. The cost of CommentSold is very reasonable especially for the smaller, struggling retailers Ms. Lange works on a weekly basis.
I had a chance to interview her to learn more.
Why did CommentSold get started? I didn't start the platform but do point my 2000 retail locations to the platform because it allows both independents and brick and mortar who have an audience to sell their products to customers outside of their stores on social media.
How does it make things easier for people who are involved in e-commerce? Customers can see a product being described and seen and then purchase it right then without waiting to go into a store.
Why is it important for business owners to be able to easily expand their reach? Now business owners don't need to wait until someone walks through their door to sell their products. It's faster and easier for both the owner and recipients.
What are some other things small business need to know being adaptable to the current marketing environment? Promote both yourself and your products. People want to know about you as a person and the products you sell and enjoy.
